In co-operation with Dr. Krieger Architects and Engineers we built a new leisure pool for the city of Alfeld while keeping the old outdoor jumping pool operational, which will be connected to the new technology when it is finished.

Indoors, a tiled concrete teaching pool, multi-purpose sports pool and fun pool with a multitude of attractions like counter-currents, jacuzzis, massage jets and water canons are being built. Besides the purely water-related features, we created a high-quality sauna with an interior atrium for rest and relaxation.

In some areas, the design of the technical installations went beyond the requirements. Intelligent planning and usage of the necessary new equipment ensures a resource-preserving operation for all media while keeping within the budget. Great importance was placed on the best- possible heat generation and distribution, which is managed through a mix of a combined heat and power system and pellet heating. Fresh water supply was optimised through the use of proprietary water, and the backwash water from the filter systems is recycled afterwards.
