Together with Bonn-based architects S+G-Architekten, we are privileged to be carrying out an unusual and exciting building reconstruction project for the town of Königswinter while facilities are being used by schools.

Sport and learners’ pools are being removed from the second and third basement beneath a triple gymnasium complex.  After these areas have been cleared while conserving listed "artwork on buildings", a self-learning centre and refectory are to be relocated to the site.

Our planning duties include integrating all future engineering systems into the existing building while using some of the existing systems. We also need to comply with fire protection requirements and public health guidelines as well as install the ventilation systems in accordance with regulations regarding public venues.

The new kitchen areas are to be fully equipped in all respects.  As a result, all water, drainage, electrical and ventilation systems need to be planned and implemented accordingly.

We have also been put in charge of engineering services to identify any shortcomings in the fire protection system in other ventilation systems and rectify any such faults.
